Metallics are the rage. At Copper Penny Flowers, floral design with metallic accents trends all year, but at the holidays, we ramp up to a new level. This is the perfect season for gold and silver vases and accents, along with natural items gilded gold and silver, like pumpkins and artichokes, pine cones and lotus ponds, lemon leaf and seeded eucalyptus.

At Copper Penny Flowers, we also love copper. Hammered copper containers are one of of our main go-tos to complement flowers in autumn hues. And we have a perennial love for mercury glass and etched mercury glass containers for events and holiday sparkle.

This year, we’re also hosting two newcomers at the party. In response to our brides’ requests, we’ve added rose gold containers and accents to our design chest. And for the holiday season, we’re looking to pewter, one of the newest design trends. The finish and tone of pewter provides an interesting and unique compliment to floral designs. And while we remain enamored with the other metallics, there’s something about the character of pewter–what’s not to love about a rebel, a rugged silver-family finish that doesn’t need polishing!
